What to Do on a Fall Scouting Trip
When I have relocation clients in town during this window, I usually suggest a simple two-day rhythm:
- Day 1: Drive the neighborhoods you are considering — Briargate, Wolf Ranch, the Westside, Old North End. Stop for coffee, walk a trail, get a feel for the pace.
- Day 2: Head up Highway 24 to Manitou Springs and Woodland Park for the aspen views, then loop back through Garden of the Gods.
It is a test drive for the lifestyle, not just the houses. Most clients decide on a general area by the end of the trip.
